Those of you who’ve made the interesting cruise down the Thames on this vessel will already be familiar with how lovely it is to travel on this Victorian style masterpiece – though it’s actually a post war construction!
Day 1: Sir Harold Hillier Gardens
Sir Harold Hillier, renowned plantsman, set out the most amazing collection of plants into this 180-acre collection. Today you’ll enjoy time to wander the site at leisure, enjoy the huge range of stock – and visit the tearoom, of course.
Proceeding onwards in the late afternoon we’ll arrive at our hotel the voco Southampton, where we’ll stay on a bed and breakfast basis. You can book yourself in for dinner to eat what you would like, when you like, or even venture out to another restaurant.
Day 2: Waverley Day
Today we’ll proceed to Southampton to pick up the Waverley and cruise down the beautiful Jurassic coast taking in the sights! On arrival at Swanage we’ll disembark, and take the coach back to our hotel.
Day 3: RHS Wisley
After a leisurely breakfast we leave our hotel and make for RHS Wisley for a long lunch break, and to explore the gardens before finally returning home.
