After the wonderful Christmas break we enjoyed in Bournemouth last year, we’re heading to the beautiful cathedral city of Exeter, where we’ll stay at the excellent 4-star Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel, complete with its own indoor swimming pool.
Ideally located in the heart of the city, the hotel is perfect for browsing the shops on Christmas Eve, taking a stroll along the picturesque waterfront of the River Exe, or simply enjoying the festive atmosphere. There are plenty of attractive places to explore at a relaxed pace.
Each evening, you’ll be free to dine at a time that suits you by reserving your preferred table, while on Christmas Day we’ll all come together as a group to enjoy a traditional Christmas lunch, just as we always do.
