Stephen Harmer, Garden History lecturer and author, formerly of RHS Wisley and Hadlow College, will join us to explore this amazing garden.
Rousham is one of the most important gardens in the country. Almost unchanged since its design by William Kent it encapsulates the first phase of English Landscape Design. It’s astonishing to think that today, in the 21st century, we will be seeing features enjoyed by visitors in the 18th century!
There is no café on site, so we will arrange our itinerary to allow for refreshments shortly before arriving and after leaving.
We should return between 6:00 & 7:30pm.
