Once again, Stephen Harmer, Garden History lecturer and author, formerly of RHS Wisley and Hadlow College, will join us to help explore this important garden.
Very much like Rousham, Painshill is one of the foremost examples of the English Landscape Movement.
Architectural historian Nikolaus Pevsner describes Painshill as “Britains greatest contribution to the visual arts”. Being full of follies, views and still waters, who would we be to argue?
We should return between 5.00 & 6.30pm.
